pagedolls are lil goobers that sit in the corner of ur page and look cute!! theyre just there 2 hang out!! the code will align the pagedoll to the bottom right of ur page! u can change the code 2 make it sit on the left (by changing "right:5px" to "left:5px"), the top, the bottom, whatev u want!

adopts, or adoptables, have transcended from their origins here on the oldweb in the furry community (i've even seen it in the vtubing community -- pretty much anywhere where designs are coveted), but back in day, adoptables were lil pixel critters u downloaded from someone's website 2 post onto ur own!! lots of ppl had "gardens", "rooms", or "toyboxes" 4 the adoptables they collected, which are custom pages just FULL of these guys :> traditionally u hotlink the image back 2 the place u found the adopt!!

u don't rly need code for an adopt!! u just right click and save image, then put it on ur own site!! any of the pagedolls above can double as adopts!! but if u need help, here's an example of what u could put!

stamps originated from deviantart!! da is now a shell of its former self, overrun with ai art :(( but it used 2 be a great place 4 beginner artists!! u'd use these stamps 2 decorate ur bio!! if u were a Freak 4 stamps like i was, u'd have an entire bookmark collection for stamps u've faved organized in a big huge grid so ppl could see all of them :> ppl used them on strawpage too!!! here are some beau stamps made by me 4 u 2 nab yay yippie!!

they're icons. but LMAO jk the reason these are so special is bc back in the days of livejournal, ppl tended to change their icon/pfp every time they made a post or reply (u could have several saved at once)...... so if u were rping, u could have a different icon for ur character's emotion!! or while blogging u could just have different images no matter what ur mood was!! ppl would dump like 100 different icons in one post, i remember it would always be 15 of the same image cropped at exceedingly awful positions... i used to print these out 2 decorate my binders w/ in school!! i especially associate 100x100 icons w/ neopets petpages where ppl would post huuuuge collections of them!! i was never good at making these and im still not... graphic design is not my passion... buttttt here are some beau ones i made anyway!! mayhaps their amateurism will make them feel more nostalgic in a way HGKFJDSGH

hotlinking is when u use an image/file/etc posted on someone elses site and embed it on urs. it's pretty frowned upon due to the unnecessary strain it puts on bandwidth!! the code i have hosted here that u can copy and paste presumes that u are also hosting ur site on neocities. if ur site is hosted on a platform other than neocities, i ask that u upload the image to ur site b4 using the adoptable/pagedoll/stamp!! thankies!!

yup!! the spirit of the oldweb is to collect stuff throughout ur travels and repurpose them in ur own lil "virtual scrapbook" so to speak :) use anything here on this page on ur own website, on ur social media, etc! i would appreciate if u credited r41n834u and linked back to the website somewhere somehow, but u don't hafta if u dont wanna!! im not ur mom!!!
